If you tell me that Christmas candles don't excite you then I think your lying! I mean candles are great all year round but they are practically a necessity at this time of year. Not only do they give you the perfect Christmas movie and snack ambiance but the smell of your favourate winter scent can be all you need to put you in the festive spirit.
Flamingo Candles, who i have mentioned at least 20 times on my blog by now, are a British company that is based in South Wales and has been around since 2013. They use only natural soy wax and cotton wicks, every candle is also hand poured by the Flamingo team! Their original jars have the trademark Florrie the Flamingo on but more recently they have added a lot of new and fun designs too. I was super lucky to have been sent a box of their new Christmas scented candles and I think I may actually have let out a squeal when I opened this box and saw all the pastel colours. I know Christmas traditionally is reds, greens and golds but I am loving all the pinks, rose golds and mints that are around this time of the year. All these cute little candles are part of their Merry Kitchmas range and I hope you love them as much as me.
Strawberry Prosecco Luxe Christmas Tree Candle - I am obsessed with the blue acrylic Christmas tree on this little jar. I think this is my favourate actually of all the scents, I like sweet fruity candles and this smells strongly of strawberries. I'm currently burning it in my living room and it gives off a nice powerful aroma. Not only does it smell good but it makes the perfect decoration.
Pink Snowflake Candle - Again I love the snowflake on the front, it totally reminds me of the film Frozen. I don't know if this is the same scent as another candle but I am pretty sure it smells exactly like Unicorn Dreams. I actually never burnt my lilac Unicorn jar because its a decoration in the bedroom (much to my boyfriends dismay i'm sure) so i'm really glad I get to burn this one and actually enjoy the scent. If you don't know what Unicorn Dreams smells like then go back to my blog post that I wrote about it! Only kidding its smells like bubblegum and Lush's Snow Fairy shower gel!
Pink Miss Gingerbread Candle - The ULTIMATE Christmas scent right? This comes in 3 different shades of gingerbread women but I was obviously happy to receive the pink one. From experience gingerbread can be an extremely over powering scent and can also smell completely different from one another. I'm pleased that the Flamingo Candle one actually smells like gingerbread baking with a hint of actual citrus. I haven't burnt it yet as i'm saving it for over the actual Christmas week so i'm hoping its not too intense!
Cranberry & Black Pepper Stag Heart Candle - When I saw this one in Candle Scentral I knew I needed it. I am keeping the jar after to either plant a cactus in or store something, its the cutest design yet. Well that and the unicorn! I have to say though, I am a little disappointed in the scent. On cold sniff it is quite strong and smells mostly of cranberry, however you do get the slight warming of the black pepper and cloves. I've burnt most of my way through the candle and the throw was almost non existent. I really wish i had kept it as decoration.
Chocolate Orange Christmas Pug Candle - Last but no means least is the delicious smelling chocolate orange candle. Think melted Terry's chocolate orange in a jar. I can't begin to tell you how good it smells, I actually want to eat it. I've been craving chocolate orange hot chocolate's and I've just realized its probably because I can smell this! So not only does it smell amazing but I really do love the design on the front. A pug with antlers? Need I say more!
All the jars featured are £12 and burn up to 50 hours but they also sell tins that are £8.50. There is SO many to choose from that your bound to find one you like.
